2. Reduce Stress
Although it’s not a surprise that an alcoholic drink can help you relax since many do that, vodka has been found to be particularly beneficial to the point where it has been studied scientifically.
The Journal of Abnormal Psychology published a study in 2009 in which some participants were given vodka and tonic, mixed one-to-five and others were given a placebo. All of the participants were then monitored using brain scans to see their responses to various stressors, and those who drank the vodka showed a decreased stress response compared to those who had the placebo.
