#9 Slow down

Admittedly, this one is probably much easier said than done. Our frenzied lives have many of us operating in “fight or flight” mode just about every waking minute of the day. This triggers the body to release hormones and ramp up your metabolism which takes its toll on both your physical and mental well-being. It will take some doing, but it will pay off in the long run if you can work yourself into the habit of slowing down. Try to eat slower, drive slower, and don’t take on more than you can handle.
