10. Tax or social security statement errors
Nobody likes to pay taxes, and that includes crooks. Sometimes a criminal will use someone else’s name to report wages they have earned, and the person whose name was used will sometimes receive tax statements or statements from the Social Security Administration with earnings that do not appear to be accurate.
